Troubleshooting - iOS

Overview

If you're using Avantalytics mobile on your iPhone and it's suddenly unable to determine where you are, this can be a frustrating situation. Luckily the fix is simple:

  1. With Safari open, click the tabs button on the lower-right side of the screen.



  2. Press the "X" on the upper-left side of each tab to close. Then press "Done" on the bottom right.



  3. Double-tap the home button to bring up all open apps. When you locate Safari, swipe up to completely close the program.



  4. On your home screen, choose "Settings."



  5. Scroll down and choose "General."



  6. Scroll to the bottom and select "Reset."



  7. Click "Reset Location & Privacy."



  8. Enter your passcode if prompted.



  9. Click "Reset Settings" on the pop up menu that appears.



  10. Reopen Safari and log into Avantalytics.com



  11. Allow Avantalytics to access your location. You will not be able to localize without turning this feature on. Any time your iOS device updates in the future, repeat these steps to ensure the AV site is always working for you!
