. This report is an extension of the Sales By Item (14) report in that it provides weekly granularity of data as well as providing a basic metric on total inventory levels and inventory per store / item. However, unlike the sales by item report, this report does not focus on year-over-year growth, but is designed to provide weekly totals for the current time period, including total inventory and inventory per store.  This report is ideal for monitoring sales trends vs inventory position over time to better understand the relationship between inventory and sales.
