Overview

This powerful report allows you to view category-level sales detail across the nation, allowing for regional / market level filtering. You can have the report display of all categories or only display specific categoriesfiltering of individual categories and geographic areas. On top of that, you can compare any category-level sales category against additional sales categories and display and compare additional metrics such as retail dollars, cost dollars and average sales price. The date ranges are customizable, using presets for common reporting periods.

Notice in the above screenshot there are several columns which are blue in colorwhere the text is blue. One of the big benefits of the web reporting is the ability to embed a number of rich interactions with the report results, right interaction links with more detailed results from inside the a report. Usually , a left-most column that is clickable (blue text) indicates a drill-down capability which will open a new report for the specific item or category with a higher greater level of data granularitydetail. Holding Hovering your mouse over the link should provide you with a hint of what the link can do as well. Links in other columns often will provide you with pop-up graphs to enhance your understanding of the data in that row/column as well.
